Course Overview

This course explores real world business issues and contemporary themes such as digital technology, sustainability, ethics, globalisation and modern workplace practices.

You will develop an understanding of the core functions of business including marketing, operations, finance and human resources before progressing to strategy, decision making and business growth in Year 2. Alongside this, you will build key skills in data analysis, critical thinking and decision making.

Lessons are interactive and based on real life case studies. You will take an active role in your learning, with around five hours of independent study per week. Support sessions are available throughout the course.

  • GCSE grade 5 in Business or Economics if taken OR
