Plans for the future:
I would like to take a gap year and travel to South East Asia, then hopefully secure a place at university to study law as I would love to work in the legal profession as a solicitor.

Why Northgate?
Firstly, the courses at Northgate for my chosen subjects were far better than other sixth forms and colleges, the course content and level of teaching. Secondly, I preferred the structure of the day with three frees a week and 75 minute lessons and finally the community atmosphere.

Go for it! It's not as scary a jump as you think - everyone is in the same boat and teachers ease you in well to the courses and exam style.

Plans for the future:
After sixth form I plan on taking a gap year and going travelling before deciding which career path I take. I'm hoping that this gap year will allow me to gain work experience and allow me to tick off things on my bucket list so that afterwards I can concentrate on establishing my career.

Why Northgate?
Unlike other places I was offered a place at, Northgate offered A-Level Law which was a subject I knew I wanted to take. Also, I knew Northgate had a very good reputation and when I was offered a place here I was really pleased.

The teachers at Northgate are always helpful and show that you getting the results you need is their priority.

Plans for the future:
Either business studies/economics or a leavers scheme in banking.

Why Northgate?
I felt I had become very complacent at my previous school, and that a new and better working environment was what I needed in order to get the grades I wanted. Northgate is a thoroughly enjoyable experience, inside and out of class. When I first looked around I really liked the sense of community, which was especially a selling point since not many of my high school friends were coming up with me.

At GSCE'S I didn't get a single A, but after starting at Northgate for my A levels, I ended up with 3 A's in my first year

Plans for the future:
I hope to go to the University of Loughborough or Bath to study either International Business or Business management. Business has always been a subject I have been very interested in since studying it at GCSE. By taking my learning to the next level as an A level subject it has inspired me to study it even further.

Why Northgate?
My brother was in the year above and seemed to get on very well here so I decided to study here. I wanted to see what the difference was like from a small high school to a large town sixth form.

Plans for the future:
I plan to go to university to study for a Masters in chemistry, possibly followed by a PhD study. I really enjoy the complexity and wide reaching applications of the subject, and hence want to specialise in this field in order to further my understanding.

Why Northgate:
From experience of studying here for my GCSE's, I was confident that the teaching would be of a very high quality. It is also a very well respected sixth form in the area and produces great results.

Extra-curricular activities:
Science Buddies, Current Affairs, School Council executive

The atmosphere of the classes, as well as the entire sixth form, is positive and helpful.
